Disappearing socks
Socks and Ellie do not mix.
For some reason, whenever I put socks on Ellie, she somehow manages to lose a sock. I know, I know…I shouldn’t blame her since they just “fall” off her feet. Really….they just fall right off.
So far we are 2 for 2. Both pairs were also brand new socks too…. The first time she lost a sock, it happened at the cherry blossom festival and in a large crowd of people. The second time was in a Babies R Us. Oddly enough, I couldn’t find that darn sock even after scouring the entire store several times.
I blame myself for putting socks on her tiny feet. The socks are really loose on her and when she is in the baby carrier, they tend to fall right off after rubbing against me for several minutes.
Jason suggested that we take the lonely half of both pairs of socks and use them as a set… Unfortunately, one sock is brown and with bears and the other one is white with ducks. A bit too noticeable that they do not belong together.
It’s a good thing summer’s almost here. It’s getting too hot for socks. Until then, no more socks for Ellie!
