One day she'll get back at us for this
E loves to run amok in the space we made for her. She climbs things that shouldn’t be climbed, she crawls under things that are too small for her to fit into, she essentially does everything possible just for the sake of explorations.
Jason and I try to help her out whenever she’s really stuck but for the most part, we let her figure out how to get out of her own predicaments.
A while back, she was off playing with the activity table on her own and Jason and I were at our desks doing our own things, occasionally glancing over to make sure she’s still in one piece.
Then all of a sudden, we hear her activity table move and E crying. We both looked over and couldn’t see her since the activity table is partially blocked by the couch.
Jason: She couldn’t possibly be stuck under the play table, could she?
Me (leaning over for a better look): No…I don’t think… *realizes that E was indeed stuck under the table* Yup, she is stuck under there.
We both get up laughing, and go over to her.
Jason (laughing): Should we help her out?
Me (laughing): Wait, I need to get a picture of this! *grabs camera and takes a picture*
Jason (laughing more): Looks like she figured out how to get out.
Me (still laughing): Man, I wish we had a video of this.
Jason: We’re such bad parents.
